How to Clean Bathroom Exhaust Fans: 8 Step Guide
Bathroom exhaust fans can get nasty over time. They can collect dust and other bacteria, making it not only an ugly site, but a health issues. Make sure you’re cleaning your exhaust fans regularly.

Remove the fan vent cover & simply clean it in the sink with a sponge and dish soap
Unclip fan or flip breaker (some fans will have a plug behind the cover which you can just unplug)
Vacuum bathroom fan with brush attachment
Remove the bathroom exhaust fan
Disconnect electrical wires
Cover the motor with a plastic bag
Reinstall bathroom fan
Check the exterior fan cover
